Arrange a Private Live ViewingThe Cobalt Baroque Emblem
Deep cobalt patterning is set against an obsidian ground and framed by sculptural gold scrollwork, shell forms and symmetrical ornamental flourishes. A central pictorial emblem anchors the composition, blending European baroque references with the precision of Qom silk weaving.
Handwoven in Qom over approximately two years with a fine 74 Raj structure, this signed 200 × 200 cm pure silk carpet is accompanied by a certificate from the Qom Hand-Woven Carpet Weavers’ Union. The unusual square format and high-contrast palette suit a bold contemporary or collector interior.
