The Artwork

A Living Persian Garden

Against a deep midnight field, a branching Tree of Life carries an extraordinary aviary of delicately rendered birds. Turquoise, coral, rose, ivory and violet blossoms create a rhythmic garden composition, while the fine silk pile gives the design a shifting brilliance as light moves across the surface.

This one-of-a-kind signed carpet was handwoven in Qom and is accompanied by a certificate from the Qom Hand-Woven Carpet Weavers' Union.
