A handmade Kashan carpet in 140 × 210 cm with a midnight-navy field filled with finely interlaced Afshan arabesques, palmettes and floral sprays, framed by a pale turquoise floral border. It is woven entirely in Silk, including the pile, warp and weft, at 74 Raj and coloured exclusively with natural dyes. The weaver’s name and signature are woven into the carpet, which is supplied with a Kashan Handwoven Carpet Union certificate of authenticity.
