The Artwork

The Imperial Midnight Medallion

The classical Lachak Toranj structure is dominated by a finely articulated central medallion, balanced by ornate corner spandrels and multiple floral borders. Antique-gold arabesques glow against the midnight ground, while turquoise and ivory accents sharpen the smallest Shah Abbasi details.

Handwoven in Qom over approximately two years with a fine 74 Raj structure, this signed 100 × 150 cm pure silk carpet carries certification from the Qom Hand-Woven Carpet Weavers’ Union. Its disciplined symmetry and royal palette make it a strong statement piece for a formal interior or specialist collection.
