Songbirds perch throughout a dense nocturnal garden of flowering branches, berries and miniature blossoms. The mint green surround brightens the composition, while pink cartouches and golden floral corners create a graceful garden-frame effect.
Handwoven in Qom over approximately two years with a fine 74 Raj structure, this signed 80 × 120 cm pure silk carpet is accompanied by a certificate from the Qom Hand-Woven Carpet Weavers’ Union. Its fresh border colour gives the traditional Gol-o-Bolbol theme a distinctive contemporary character.
