The Artwork

The Mint Garden of Songbirds

Colourful birds rest among dense floral clusters and branching forms across a deep botanical field, while a broad mint-green border introduces airy garden panels around the composition. The flowing presentation reveals how the pure silk pile shifts from bright highlights to deep shadow.

Handwoven in Qom over approximately three years with a fine 74 Raj structure, this signed 100 × 150 cm pure silk carpet is accompanied by a certificate from the Qom Hand-Woven Carpet Weavers’ Union. Its luminous border and intricate aviary create a sophisticated balance of freshness and depth.
