Imperial Midnight Afshan Silk Rug
The composition is organised as a midnight-navy field filled with finely interlaced Afshan arabesques, palmettes and floral sprays, framed by a pale turquoise floral border. The uninterrupted Afshan field creates rhythm without a central medallion, while the pale border gives the dense midnight ground a measured architectural frame.
This 155 × 225 cm Kashan carpet is woven entirely in Silk for pile, warp and weft, with 74 Raj construction and 100% natural dyes. The woven weaver name and signature and the Kashan union certificate document its authenticity.
