Tree of Life Garden
The Tree of Life is one of the enduring pictorial themes of Persian weaving. Here, the central tree rises from a garden floor and opens into dense branches, blossoms, fruit and birds. A dark botanical border frames the ivory field, while woven Persian inscriptions reinforce the work’s signed, narrative character.
This 155 × 225 cm Kashan carpet combines premium Merino wool with a cotton foundation and 40 Raj construction. Mahsa Azarnoor redesigned the composition, Mrs. Sima wove the rug, and Master Gholam Ramezani prepared the natural colours.
