Sabz Baharestan · Floral Medallion Composition
A handmade Kashan rug designed by Mr. Karimi and woven by Mr. Arash. The 200 × 300 cm composition presents a large layered floral medallion on an emerald-green field, surrounded by Shah Abbasi palmettes, scrolling vines, stylised birds and finely distributed blossoms. A burgundy floral border frames the green field with strong contrast. The pile is premium Merino wool, with cotton warp and weft, woven at 35 Raj. Master Gholam Ramezani used exclusively natural dyes. The weaver’s name and signature are woven into the rug, and a Kashan Handwoven Carpet Union certificate of authenticity is supplied. Two rugs are available, priced individually at USD 5,700 under the CFR term.

Sabz Baharestan is organised around a broad layered medallion whose ivory, blue, black and burgundy details stand out against the saturated green ground. Shah Abbasi flowers, curved arabesques, small blossoms and stylised birds fill the surrounding field, while the burgundy border creates a precise architectural frame. The palette gives the rug a garden-like character without sacrificing the formal balance expected of a Kashan medallion design.
Designed by Mr. Karimi and woven by Mr. Arash, each 200 × 300 cm rug combines a premium Merino wool pile with cotton warp and weft, 35 Raj construction and 100% natural dyes prepared by Master Gholam Ramezani.
